Job description

Develop practice skills through an intense, one year learning experience. While practicing as a pharmacist the resident will assure that medications, supplies, and drug information are furnished to the customer in an accurate and timely way in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards. The resident will also review and evaluate drug regimens, which include the medication profile, in order to identify issues that require pharmacy intervention or monitoring. Participates in patient care activities as defined by criteria for patient specific monitoring. Following the experience, the resident should have a personal philosophy of practice, a systematic method for monitoring their performance and a demonstrated commitment to the profession.
