Pediatric Neuropsychology Opportunity at Thriving Free-Standing Children’s Hospital!
Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a staff pediatric neuropsychologist to join our growing Neuropsychology Program. In response to the rapidly expanding need for pediatric neuropsychology services, we are establishing Neuropsychology as its own division, creating an exciting opportunity to help shape and support the program’s continued growth.
Department Specific Job Details:
The Neuropsychology Program at Dayton Children’s Hospital (DCH) is a sought-after service that provides comprehensive evaluations to over 45 medical subspecialties represented within our hospital and community physicians with regards to children with a wide variety of medical conditions that affect their brain functioning and behavior, including seizures, cancer, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and numerous perinatal conditions.
Requirements
• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child clinical psychology or pediatric psychology, including completion of an internship in an APA/CPA-accredited child psychology or pediatric psychology program.
• Eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
• Completion of a formal two-year Pediatric Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowship; APPCN fellowship preferred.
• Experience working with medical populations preferred.
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology must be obtained within five years of hire.
