Overview
Responsible for courteously answering all calls to PBX and communicates with the public, patients and all hospital staff.
Responsibilities
Promptly and courteously greets incoming calls to switchboard, making appropriate connections. Operate hospital-wide communications system, including paging, beeping and knowledge or emergency equipment and codes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year clerical or multiple switchboard experience. Ability to type with accuracy. Ability to work well and remain calm in a fast paced, stressful environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
