Overview
Major Job Functions:
• Registration
• Scheduling
• Estimates/collections
• Communication and exceptional customer service
• Process flow of patient therapy episode of care
• Referral entry
• Verification of insurance and benefits
• Processes prior authorization of services
• Assists in management of work queues as directed
Qualifications
Education/formal training/licensure/certification/experience:
High School graduate; knowledge of medical terminology. Preferred: Related
college/continuing education or experience in one or more of the:
• Customer service
• Healthcare office
• Billing/coding
• Business
