Overview
Responsibilities
Fills in for other department staff (Analyst Biller/Collector, Analyst Insurance, Financial Counselor, Clerk Accounting I) during absences from the workplace. Performs assigned clerical duties in an accurate and timely fashion according to established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrates written, interpersonal, and communication skills as appropriate to position
Proficient in word processing and PC based spreadsheet programs
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
Working knowledge of collection laws applicable to state and federal levels
Working knowledge of insurance regulations, healthcare related insurance billing and/or collections
Demonstrated ability to analyze and explain insurance requirements and benefits.
Working knowledge of automated UB92 and/or HCFA 1500 billing
