**Job Title:** Patient Care Technician I (PRN)
**Job Type:** PRN (Pro Re Nata / As Needed)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician I to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and ensure high-quality care and comfort for our patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Support nursing staff with basic clinical tasks and patient care procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
**Qualifications:**
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Patient Care Technician training program preferred.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
