**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician I to join our healthcare team on a PRN (pro re nata/as needed) basis. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff by delivering high-quality patient care and assisting with daily activities to ensure patient comfort and safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and procedures as directed.
• Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide compassionate care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and privacy policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Patient Care Technician training program preferred.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours on a PRN basis.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
