Patient Care Technician I, Full Time, Days (8:30a-4:30p), AMG Pediatrics- Morristown, NJ

Job description

The PCT is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support within the practice. The PCT will perform daily administrative duties, as well as provide direct patient care and clinical support under the direction and supervision of the physician, practice manager and/or Lead CMA, when needed.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Administrative duties/answering phone, obtaining outside records for new and established patients
• Supports practitioners in providing direct patient care.
• Rooms and prepares patients for examination and treatment.
• Registers patients for checking in

Required:
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certified

Preferred:
• 1-2 Years previous patient care experience
• EMT, PCT, or CMA certification
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patient, compassionate nature
• Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses
• Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems
