**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician I to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and ensure the comfort and safety of our patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Support nursing staff with clinical tasks and patient care procedures as directed
• Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates and address concerns
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
**Qualifications:**
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification as a Patient Care Technician or equivalent preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
