Your future role at a glance
• Location: Appleton, WI
• Facility: St. Elizabeth Hospital
• Department: Emergency Department
• Schedule: PRN | 9am-9pm, 11am-11pm, occasional 3pm-3am

How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Deliver rapid, advanced life-support care and clinical evaluations to critically ill or injured patients during high-stakes emergency situations.
• Stabilize patients through timely medical interventions in close collaboration with attending physicians, registered nurses, and emergency transport teams.
• Execute transport team protocols with precision while continuously monitoring, recording, and communicating vital patient status updates.
• Empower patients and families through clear, population-specific education regarding acute health conditions and emergency therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain emergency equipment and transport vehicles at peak operational readiness to ensure maximum safety for patients, the public, and care teams.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Paramedic credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.

Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:
• Two years Paramedic experience required.
