Job Description:
The Outpatient Therapist is a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, APPs, psychologists, therapists, nursing, and other disciplines to provide holistic or comprehensive medical and mental health services to patients. They interview patients and give diagnostic tests as clinically indicated. The outpatient therapist provides individual, family or group psychotherapy, and collaborates with the behavioral health team to develop and implement evidenced-based treatment and interventions.

Selected candidate will need to complete internal credentialing prior to starting, current timeframe is 60-90 days.
Essential Functions
• Assesses the patient's medical history, mental health history, and current presentation to understand the patient's needs from treatment.
• Diagnoses and treats various mental, emotional and behavioral disorders, which may include psychotherapy or psychological testing.
• Develops a plan of care either individually or with input from the patient, patient family/significant others, physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provides treatment based on patient need and evidenced-based interventions.
• Refers patients to other services to improve their well-being. These referrals may include community services, treatment programs, support groups, and/or psychiatrists (or other mental health providers).
• Properly documents pertinent information regarding the patient's plan of care.
• Consults with the multi-disciplinary team to develop treatment plans, behavior plans and discharge plans.

Psychologist Minimum Qualifications:
• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
• Current license as a psychologist in state(s) in which patient care is delivered

LCSW, LMFT AND CMHC Minimum Qualifications: 35.60 - 54.93 USD Hourly
• Master’s degree in social work or related field. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
• Current state licensure (as required by state) as LCSW, LMFT, CMHC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer Skills, i.e., email, word processing.

Preferred Qualifications
• PSYPACT eligible or PSYPACT authorization

Physical Requirements
• Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
• Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
• Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
• Ability to regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Employees must be physically able to use crisis prevention intervention techniques including: physical management of a child, running to prevent a runaway incident. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, run or crawl.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$52.12 - $80.42
