Outpatient Therapist - Clinic

Job description

Job Summary
Counsels individuals and groups in an outpatient setting to promote optimum mental health. Assists individuals dealing with thoughts of suicide; addiction and substance abuse; family, parenting and marital problems; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and other issues associated with mental and emotional health.
Qualifications
Education
• Required
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field

Experience:
• Preferred
• Two or more years of experience working in an outpatient mental

Certification/Licensure:
• Required
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent
• Licensure must be valid in the State of Texas
