What We Offer
• Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours), 8:45A-5:15P, five 8 hour shifts. No regular call & no weekends! Some holiday call required.
• Department: Operating Room
• Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC
• Unit Info: 17 OR rooms, range of procedures including general, vascular & open heart.
• Position Info: Assists with the safe patient handling, preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment to facilitate room turnover under direction of the Registered Nurse in collaboration with the surgical team

This is a hands on, physical position!
What You'll Do
• Positioning patients within OR equipment
• Putting together equipment
• Stocking rooms and supplies
• Lifting
• Cleaning OR rooms

What We're Looking For
• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year of experience, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. Demonstrate effective and appropriate customer service skills, verbal and nonverbal communication techniques, interpersonal relationship skills, and time management skills.
