• Location: Waycross, GA
• Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Waycross Cardiology Clinic
• Schedule: Full - Time | Monday - Thursday from 8am -5pm | Friday 8am - 2pm

How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Greet and manage patient check-in/out, verifying demographic and insurance information, and obtaining necessary documentation.
• Process insurance authorizations/precertification and handle medical record release requests.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage daily charge entry, review, and submission for services.
• Collect co-payments, reconcile daily financial reports, and prepare deposits.
• Provide essential administrative and clerical support within the medical office setting.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Prior medical office experience, specifically supporting a fast-paced cardiology practice, with a strong working knowledge of Georgia medical insurance plans and regional payer requirements.
• Hands-on proficiency with AthenaHealth EHR, paired with exceptional multi-tasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and a warm, customer-centric approach to patient care.
