How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Implement customized occupational therapy treatment plans using evidence-based techniques to help patients rebuild daily living skills, improve mobility and regain independence.
• Monitor patient progress and partner with supervising occupational therapists to adapt care plans for optimal functional recovery.
• Educate patients and family caregivers on adaptive equipment, therapeutic techniques and support resources to ensure a safe, confident transition home.
• Document patient care journeys and clinical outcomes to maintain accurate records that drive team collaboration and care continuity.
• Guide therapy support staff and technicians to maintain consistent clinical quality, patient safety and high care standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentialed from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:
• High school diploma or GED required.
