How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Assess individual living skills and daily physical function to design tailored care plans that rebuild patient independence.
• Deliver targeted therapeutic treatments while continually evaluating, documenting and modifying interventions to ensure optimal recovery.
• Guide patients, families and caregivers through comprehensive education regarding adaptive equipment, ongoing care and discharge planning.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and support staff to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality patient care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
• Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners, or eligibility to obtain within 180 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or eligibility to obtain within 30 days of hire.
