We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care team. The clinician in this role will work with adult patients presenting with a wide range of medical, surgical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions. This flexible per diem position is ideal for an experienced OT who is looking for weekday PD hours (3 per week).

Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for adult acute care patients, including assessment of functional mobility, ADLs, cognition, vision, and safety.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans to promote independence, recovery, and successful discharge planning.
• Deliver interventions focused on ADL retraining, functional mobility, cognitive/visual-perceptual skills, therapeutic exercise, and caregiver education.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including PT, SLP, nursing, case management, and physicians.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, and discharge recommendations in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.

Qualifications
• Weekday coverage availability.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NJ state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
• Prior experience in acute care strongly preferred; comfort with medically complex adult patients required.
• Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and time‑management skills.
