Nutritionist (Registered Dietitian)
Make a Difference Through Nutrition Care
WakeMed is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Nutritionist (Registered Dietitian) to provide outpatient nutrition counseling and education to individuals and families across a variety of health and wellness programs. In this role, you will empower patients to make informed nutrition choices that support healthier lifestyles and improved health outcomes.
What You'll Do
• Provide individualized outpatient nutrition counseling and education.
• Develop nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
• Support patients participating in programs such as:
• Pediatric Weight Management
• Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Employee Wellness
• Outpatient Nutrition Services
• Primary Care Programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition recommendations as needed.
• Promote healthy lifestyle behaviors through evidence-based nutrition practices.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) credential required.
• Previous experience in outpatient nutrition counseling preferred.
