Job description
Primary Functions:
• Responsible for ensuring all dishes and kitchen utensils are properly sanitized and records sanitizer levels daily.
• Loads and unloads the dishwasher.
• Reports any equipment problems to the Food Service Manager.
• Delivers and picks up food carts to the designated areas.
• Empties trash cans after each meal, or as needed. Keeps the trash dumpster area clean and ensures the lids are closed on the dumpster.
• Keeps the kitchen floor clear of all debris, and sweep/mop after each meal. Plus, ensuring the “wet floor” sign is in place during mopping.
• Clean and sanitize carts as instructed by the Food Service Manager.
• Cleans all walls in the chemical closet, dry storage, etc.
• Cleans the ice machine inside and out as instructed by the Food Service Manager
• Organize pots and pans on racks as instructed by the Food Service Manager
• Delivers food and beverage items to residents or staff members.
• Works as a team player with the dietary department, adjusting duties to cover other assignments as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must pass the pre-employment process
