Summary
Job Description:
A Nursing Assistant on the CVU Cardiac Unit provides intermediate care to the cardiac surgery patients directly following the recovery phase in CVR and post-op until discharge. This unit can also cares for cardiovascular patients of all diagnoses requiring this a higher level of care.
What You'll Do:
• Clerical duties as needed for the unit
• Assist the nursing staff by performing selected nursing procedures and routine patient care duties
• Function within the scope of training and instruction received under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
