Overview
Be part of something new! UF Health is opening a brand-new Freestanding Emergency Department in Jacksonville’s Intercoastal area, and we’re looking for experienced ED RNs to join the team. Help shape the culture of a new facility while providing high-quality emergency care backed by UF Health. Join us from the start!
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse. The RN is expected to perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned. The RN maintains overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients, even though some activities/tasks may be delegated to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served.
Qualifications
Required Education:
• Associates in nursing
• BSN within 3 years of hire
Preferred Education:
• BSN
Required Licensure/Certifications:
• Florida State RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
Preferred Licensure/Certifications:
• Professional certification
Required Experience:
• 1 year of ED RN experience
