Hiring Range:
$129,819.98 - $185,000.00
(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).
Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Schedule: Full-time, 8 sessions (6 in-person, 2 remote sessions)
UMass Memorial Health, the leading health and wellness system in Central Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Department of Dermatology. This unique hybrid opportunity includes 4 onsite clinical sessions and 4 sessions dedicated to inbasket management and virtual patient care. Inbasket and virtual care responsibilities may be performed remotely, with some onsite time expected as needed to support team integration and collaboration, particularly during the onboarding period.
As a Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will care for a diverse patient population in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff. This role is ideal for an experienced Dermatology APP who enjoys balancing direct patient care with technology-enabled care delivery. Because this position includes regularly scheduled onsite clinic days, candidates must reside locally or be willing to relocate to the Central Massachusetts area.
Key Highlights
• Hybrid Practice: 4 onsite outpatient clinical sessions and 4 sessions dedicated to inbasket management and virtual patient care
• Patient Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of general dermatologic conditions
• Virtual Care: Manage patient messages, pathology and laboratory results, medication refill requests, prior authorizations, and follow-up care through the Epic electronic medical record
• Team-Based Environment: Collaborate closely with dermatologists, APPs, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care
• Academic Health System: Practice within a nationally recognized academic department with access to subspecialty expertise and resources
• Technology: Epic electronic medical record system

Qualifications
Required:
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current NP or PA certification
• Eligibility for Massachusetts licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of dermatology APP experience preferred
• Experience managing outpatient dermatology patients and electronic inbasket responsibilities
• Must reside locally or be willing to relocate to support scheduled onsite clinic responsibilities
