Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Vascular & Endovascular Surgery

The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part of a multidisciplinary team managing hospitalized patients that have undergone surgical and/or endovascular interventions. This is a dynamic surgical and endovascular practice renowned for excellence, innovation and performing cutting-edge procedures. The vascular practice includes 7 surgeons and 7 NP/PAs in the hospital practice. The NP or PA will provide comprehensive assessment, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosis, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments and non-pharmacologic therapies. The NP/PAs will also have the opportunity to participate actively in the Division's educational conferences to stay abreast of this rapidly changing specialty. We are very willing to train new graduates. After orientation and acclimation to the Vascular Surgery practice, the schedule will include days, extended days and weekends. Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Must have current Minnesota RN license and certification as a FNP, ACNP or ANP Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
Candidate must be eligible for DEA registration. BLS required.
