What You’ll Do
The Nursing Manager provides oversight for onsite nursing staff in the residential treatment center environment, and serves as a liaison between the nursing team and the Medical Director and/or Directory of Psychiatry. Key responsibilities include:
• Delegating shift-specific responsibilities to maximize efficiency and accuracy in the provision of nursing care
• Performing two to four (2–4) clinical shifts monthly, filling in for nurses who are out of office, and stepping in to perform clinical duties if the team is short staffed
• Performing chart audits and reviewing medication error reports and internal incident reports
• Completing compliance-related nursing documentation and treatment plans
• Upholding Newport Healthcare’s core values of empathy and patient-first care in every patient interaction

What Makes You a Great Fit
• Current RN license in the state in which you are applying (required)
• Minimum of two years of prior nursing experience and one year management/supervisory experience (preferred)
• A purposeful, results-oriented critical thinker who can make fast, safe judgment calls in fast-paced situations
• A compassionate leader who can establish clear directions, bring out the best in people, and set objectives that challenge team members and help them grow
• Detail oriented and skilled at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and communicating, in both verbal and written format
• Facility with computer systems, including Outlook, HRIS, EMR, and online learning

Compensation Range: $50.05 - $67.64 per hour depending on education and experience
