Nurse Manager - Birth Center

The manger role is responsible for the oversite and leadership of the Hudson Birth Center, including labor/delivery, post-partum, newborn nursery, enhanced care nursery and outpatient lactation. This includes the provision of patient center care that continually strives to achieve Triple Aim goals. The Manager participates in developing strategic and
operational plans for the Birth Center, assumes the managing responsibilities for the 24-hour needs of the birth center, and directs all aspects of patient care and services to assure that the organization mission, vision, values, strategic plan and policies and procedures are consistently met.
WORK SCHEDULE : 1.0 (40 hours/week). Mon-Fri, primarily days.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in labor and delivery Nursing.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification :
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS certification required (must be through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledgeable about and monitors healthcare trends and happenings in community, state, region, and nation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
• MSN Preferred
• Previous leadership experience
