Overview
Provides computer hardware and software installation and support to end users throughout the hospital system.
Responsibilities
• Provides technical support of hardware and software applications to end users throughout the hospital system.
• Participates in project needs as directed by leadership.
• Maintains and complies with inventory processes for Microsystems hardware used within the hospital and other facilities.
• Utilizes Northside supported protocols for building and maintaining hardware within the organizational infrastructure.
• Provides explanations and educational support to end-users following computer hardware and software support, including procurement and lifecycle.
• Provides on-site and remote support as needed to users of the Northside locations within Georgia as geographically assigned.
• Assists in departmental physical moves, additions, changes related to project needs of and computer systems and devices within the hospital and its remote locations.
• Researches and resolves problems and questions regarding computer systems and software.
• Adheres to all Microsystems-related policies and procedures and ensures compliance by end-users.
• Produces daily, weekly, and monthly reports for departmental and related functions, routinely tests systems, and provides documentation for knowledge base and management education requests.
• Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the manager.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
• Two (2) years demonstrated work experience supporting personal computers and technology
• One (1) year professional work experience supporting personal computer software and building computer hardware for enterprise.
• Experience with standard operating systems and desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Professional)
• Must possess excellent analytical skills.
• Must possess excellent communications and customer service skills.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
• Associates Degree in Information Systems or other technical field
• A+ certification or equivalent certifications
• Two (2) or more years experience in professional environment supporting personal computer software, hardware build, installations, and end user support for enterprise or health care.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with standard enterprise information technologies (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Products, System Center, Active Directory, Virtual Desktop, Mobile Device Management)
• Experience working in technical support at healthcare facility

Work Hours:
5:30-2:00
