Summary:
Assists physicians and other health care professionals with a variety of patient and site support activities to facilitate nursing care and to improve the delivery of quality patient services under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner (M.D. or D.O).
Education:
Essential:
• Tech/Trade Certification
• High School Diploma or GED

Education specialization:
Essential:
• Medical Assistant
• Emergency Medical Technician

Experience:
Credentials:
Essential:
• Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross and does not expire within 60 days of start date

Other information:
-AHCA Level II Required
Education equivalent experience:
Essential:
• Or 2 years on the job validated training.
