• Position Summary:
• The medical assistant is responsible for providing quality patient care as assigned by professional nursing staff or physicians in the clinic setting.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• High school or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assisting training course
• Minimum Experience
• Medical assisting experience preferred
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• Medical Assisting Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA)
• Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
