Job Requirements:
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) performs clinical laboratory testing to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. Working under the supervision of a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Laboratory Leadership, the MLT conducts routine and complex testing across multiple disciplines (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood bank), ensuring accurate and timely results. This role supports quality assurance initiatives, maintains laboratory equipment, and upholds regulatory compliance in alignment with hospital standards and accrediting agencies.

Qualifications
Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of laboratory experience
License / Certification: State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technician License/ American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification or other national certification
