Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• The Manager of Memory and Cognitive Disorders Program oversees the clinical services and staff in the Memory and Cognitive Disorders Program, and its associates.
• This role works collaboratively with the department Director to oversee the patient care, operational budget, patient volume, strategic growth, and regulatory compliance.
• This role engages staff, manages staff performance and development, and serves as a clinical educator.
• The manager leads continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensures high quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
• Participates in developing and modifying policies, procedures, and protocols as needed.
• Responsible for daily productivity management and onboarding new staff.
• The manager enhances the patient experience through coordination of care across the continuum and links patients to appropriate services.
• In addition to the above, this position is also responsible for providing patient care in the role of a clinical nurse navigator.
• The nurse navigator is a registered nurse responsible for the seamless coordination of care with complex, integration sensitive diagnoses.
• The Navigator coordinates care in conjunction with the physicians from time of diagnosis or admission through discharge or up to end of life.
• May assume other nurse navigator responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
• Five years’ experience in an acute hospital or healthcare environment required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Neurology preferred.
• Master’s degree in the Neurosciences field preferred.

License Required:
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in California

License Preferred:
• N/A

Certifications Required:
• BLS Certification required.
