What You Should Know About the Manager- Clinical Engineering:
• Monday- Friday: Typical hours 7:00- 3:30 with occasional late hours or weekends if needed
• This position is based within Jefferson Regional Clinical Engineering Department

Job Summary:
The Clinical Engineering Manager oversees the clinical engineering department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of medical equipment and technology within the hospital. This role involves managing a team of biomedical technicians, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Manager- Clinical Engineering Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical or Associate Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field required. Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field preferred.
• Ability to work under high stress situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including Physicians, Nurses and other Clinical Engineering staff.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• 5+ years’ experience in Clinical Engineering or Bio-medical equipment preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in Electronic Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience with PC-based word processors and spreadsheets preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in data entry preferred
