Expected pay for this position is $33.85 - $39.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mammography Tech II performs all mammography procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license, according to established standards and practices of the American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Completion of a radiography program with associated certificate or degree

Licensure/Certification:
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Techs) Radiography(R); ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Techs) Mammography(M); IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) Licensure as a registered radiologic technologist;
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (BLS for HealthCare Providers)

Other skills/knowledge:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
• 1 year in mammography and radiology.

Other skills/knowledge:
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
