How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging: Perform high-quality mammography procedures by expertly positioning patients and selecting accurate technical parameters to ensure precise, early detection.
• Empower patient health: Guide patients through each step of their exam with clear, compassionate communication, educating them on the vital role of regular mammograms in preventive breast care.
• Ensure flawless image quality: Evaluate diagnostic images for technical perfection and promptly upload complete files to PACS, laying the groundwork for accurate, seamless radiologist evaluations.
• Maintain an uncompromising standard of safety: Strictly apply radiation safety protocols and rigorously monitor imaging equipment to guarantee a safe, secure, and fully compliant care environment for every patient.
• Cultivate a clean, seamless clinical space: Maintain pristine procedure rooms and organized department areas to foster a welcoming, supportive atmosphere that elevates the patient experience.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required by hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• State of WI licensed, ARRT registered with advanced Mammo certification. Prior Dexa scan experience preferred
