And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.Make a DifferenceThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic performs direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborates with the RN on the plan of care. The LPN or Paramedic directs patient care which can include assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and phlebotomy. The LPN or Paramedic may also provide indirect care which may include order transcription, documentation, and reinforcement of patient and family education. The LPN collaborates with other team members to perform other unit services as directed.Exceptional Skills and QualificationsLPNGraduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.ParamedicParamedics must have a high school diploma or GED and be state certified by the Indiana Department of Homeland SecurityIf not currently certified in Indiana, out-of-state paramedics must have valid registration and pass practical and written exams within 60 days of hire to be certified in Indiana1 year experience working as a Paramedic, EMT, or ED Technician is preferred.
