Your Role as a Staff Nurse:
• Patient Care : Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
• Assessment and Monitoring : Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
• Medication Administration : Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Care Planning : Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
• Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Patient Education : Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
