What We Offer
The Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a member of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with other team members to provide care that promotes optimal health. The Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the care of the patient during their health journey. The Licensed Practical Nurse accepts accountability for provision of care, as part of the RN led team, in accordance with the current policies and procedures.
• Schedule : Full Time, Days 7:00am - 7:00pm Routing Days off
• Department : Novant Health Extended Care Clinic
• Location : Clemmons, North Carolina

About Our Walk-In Care at Tanglewood in Clemmons:
We see patients of all ages are feeling sick or have suffered a minor injury. Our on-site lab services make diagnosing the flu, strep throat and other common illnesses quick and easy. From earaches to tummy aches, our providers will investigate your concern and determine the best way to help you feel better. You can also rely on us to complete required physicals for work or school, on a first come, first served basis.
What You'll Do
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and patient education
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure smooth clinic flow
• Deliver empathetic support to patients throughout their care journey
• Support to patients throughout their care journey

What We're Looking For
• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state LPN license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Computer skills, Phone call etiquette, Organizational Skills.
