Lab Assistant - North Campus Clinical Lab

Job description

Performs various routine functions precisely and accurately to assist the laboratory professional staff and to facilitate testing by receiving and processing specimens, performing clerical tasks and assist with fine needle aspirations as needed. Assist with other non-complex tasks in the lab such as loading samples onto instruments, quality control, and with proper training and education may assist with waived testing.
Qualifications:
Lab Assistant I – HS or GED required, phlebotomy or transcription experience preferred.
Lab Assistant II – HS or GED required and a certified phlebotomist, or AS in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.
Lab Assistant III – BS required in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.
Every Friday from 10am to 2pm
