They also assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures; as well as prepare, administer and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations and institutional policy. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
• Prepares patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
• Is responsible for preparing and ensuring that all x-ray images are of good quality and x-ray related equipment for procedures are maintained.
• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
• Effectively communicates with members of the care team to deliver high quality, patient centered care.
• Education: Associates Degree in Radiology or Completion of certification program in Radiography
• License: Required: Current ARRT (R) and current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana
