Position Description:
Under physician’s supervision, the NP/PA is responsible for managing specialized, patient-centered care before, during, and after image-guided medical procedures. The NP/PA will provide a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, evaluating lab results, imaging studies, and clinical notes, and performing clinical procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, line placements and biopsy site care.
Requirements:
• Education/Certification/Licensure
• Current NY State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations and establish a leadership role in an emergency.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues and approaches in area of expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of health promotion, health risk identification, and patient education principles and techniques.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.

Pay Range: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00, based on experience
