Innovation and Lean Transformation Intern

Job description

This internship position is a time-limited, temporary position with a start date and orientation on January 25th, 2027. The total number of hours that an intern can work during this timeframe is 250 hours. **Please include your GPA on your resume** This Intern will support the Innovation and Lean Transformation department with administrative and operational tasks related to system-wide performance improvement, training coordination, and Lean initiatives. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to organizational development work, event/training logistics, and data tracking, while assisting the team under the guidance of department staff.
Essential Job Function:
• Assist with planning and logistics for training events and programs (materials, room/AV setup, catering coordination, participant check-in)
• Support registration and attendance tracking for training programs using the organization's Learning Management System (LMS), with guidance from staff
• Help create and organize support materials and presentations for classroom-based training sessions
• Assist with basic data entry and reporting related to training metrics, budget tracking, and program outcomes
• Provide administrative and customer service support to internal staff and program participants
• Assist with day-of event support during training sessions and department programs

Education:
• Required: Must be in process of a college-level degree in a related field and a student in good standing.
• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program.
