Job Summary
The Health Unit Coordinator/Monitor Technician role is a unit support position, under the direction and supervision of the charge nurse and accountable to the Clinical Coordinator and Manager.
Required Qualifications
• Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment for positions utilizing cardiac monitor technicians.
• Require minimum of two (2) years employment at SMHCS with a satisfactory work record and no corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer expert interpersonal skills.
• Prefer basic knowledge of commonly used computer applications and MS Office equivalent.
• Prefer the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Mandatory Education
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
