Job Requirements
Carilion Clinic is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a well-established and growing cardiology team at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRVMC) in Christiansburg, Virginia.
The Practice
• Join 2 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 2 Interventional Cardiologists, and 5 Advanced Care Providers
• Part of Carilion Clinic’s integrated, nationally recognized regional cardiac network
• Strong referral base with opportunities for rapid practice growth and community outreach
• Shared call with Monday–Friday office hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Supportive, collaborative team environment

The Hospital
• 146-bed regional medical center serving the New River Valley
• Level III Trauma Emergency Department
• Home to Lifeguard 11, Carilion Clinic’s Emergency Air Medical Transport
• Medical staff of approximately 200 physicians across medical and surgical specialties
• Epic EMR (inpatient and outpatient)

• Stress testing
• Echocardiography (2D/3D TEE & TTE)
• Nuclear cardiology
• Cardioversions

• Two new cardiac catheterization labs

Qualifications
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Experience with echocardiography and nuclear cardiology required

The posted salary range may not reflect the full value of the total compensation package. You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary.
Min 520,000
Max 748,000
Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary . In addition, comprehensive benefits and pension offerings further enhance the overall rewards package.
