Ascension Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist to join our elite heart care team in Marion, Indiana. This is a unique opportunity to build a meaningful practice in a community where you are truly needed, while remaining seamlessly connected to Indiana’s largest and most advanced cardiovascular network. In Marion, you will enjoy the independence of a smaller office environment—allowing you to focus deeply on patient relationships—supported by a tenured staff and a direct pipeline to the nationally-ranked Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center.
How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Join an established team of cardiologists and APPs
• Call structure: 1:4
• Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient/mix
• Collaborative Network: Frequent collaboration and cross-coverage with our premier cardiology group in Indianapolis, providing you with a "big city" specialist network in a community setting.
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiology
• Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
• Fellowship training in cardiology

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
