Job Summary
Financial Coordinator is responsible for tracking, documenting and obtaining insurance verification, benefits, authorization and referrals. The Financial coordinator is responsible for greeting, assisting, and scheduling patients and providing customer service excellence. Responsible for patient registration and collection of payments. Ensures complete and accurate charge documents, billing forms, and daily cash receipts and logs.
Pay Range
Minimum $24.25 Midpoint $32.12 Maximum $39.99
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
• One year healthcare experience required
• High School diploma or GED
• Typing 40 wpm
• Excellent communication skills, team-player, performs duties and assignments in an independent manner with little or no direct supervision required Independent problem solving skills
Work Environments - Functional Demand:
Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).
