The analyst collaborates closely with clinical, administrative, and operational teams to analyze financial performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and identify areas for cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of patient care. Assists with monthly financial reporting and analysis. Delivers actionable insights for existing and proposed programs. Serves as the key contact for operations during the operating budget process. As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy and drive performance improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial performance of current and proposed programsPrepare ROI analysis for capital projectsAssist with monthly financial reporting and analysisComplete special projects timely with thorough documentationUtilize decision support systems and Excel for data analysisPrepare and present detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and recommendations to leadership teamsMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve financial performanceExceptional Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required4+ years of accounting/finance experience (healthcare preferred)Professional certification is advantageous (e.g. CPA, MBA, MHA)Strong critical thinking skills ability to identify issues, develop solutions and present recommendations to leadershipAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsProficient Microsoft Word & PowerPoint skillsDetail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects independentlyInterest in developing AI skills for financial analysisKey CompetenciesCritical thinking and problem-solvingCollaboration and teamworkAdaptability in a dynamic business environmentInitiative and drive for continuous improvementIntegrity and commitment to confidentiality
