**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Fetal Ultrasonographer II to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in performing detailed fetal ultrasound examinations, providing critical imaging to support prenatal care and diagnosis. This role requires precision, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform comprehensive fetal ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Accurately capture and document high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound findings.
• Maintain patient comfort and provide clear communication throughout the imaging process.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in fetal imaging.
Education & Experience - Required
• Graduation from an AMA and/or CAAHP approved school of Ultrasound Technology
• Registered or eligible for registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
• Registry in OB/GYN is required within one year of hire.
• Nuchal Translucency and Maternal Uterine Artery Doppler certification by Fetal Medicine Foundation within one (1) year of hire.
• CPR certification
Education & Experience - Preferred
• One (1) year of experience performing diagnostic ultrasound studies
