Hourly Pay Range:
$18.76 - $27.20 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
• Position: Environmental Services HUB Coordinator
• Location: Corporate Center – Warrenville, IL.
• Full Time: 40hrs/week
• Hours: Evenings, Monday – Friday - 2pm – 10:30pm

What you will do:
The role works independently with minimal supervision performing a range of complex support duties for Environmental Services (EVS). Duties include responding to calls, tracking inbound calls and task completion, coordinating with others in the hub, as well as the hospital Environmental Services (EVS) team. Overseeing the EPIC EVS bed board module for multiple EEH locations, coordinating services with other departments to minimize patient, staff and visitor disruptions, and improving the patient experience.
• Service Now Oversight: Oversees the completion of department work orders, including complex customer requests, record updates, and logistical planning to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Call Response Management: Responds to manual service calls for multiple locations during operating hours, plans and tracks tasks through to completion
• Event Logistics Coordination: Manages logistics for meetings and special events according to the department’s shared calendar, dispatches team members as needed.
• EVS Bed Board Administration: Oversees the EVS bed board module across shifts and locations, monitors bed priority changes and coordinates staff to manage bed flow and room placement. Tracks breaks and potential delays.
• Patient Throughput Facilitation: Coordinates with the EEH Hub team to ensure safe and seamless patient entry and exit within the system.
• Issue Escalation: Escalates delays, bottlenecks, and logistical challenges in patient placement in a timely manner.
• Communication and Record Keeping: Communicates with various teams utilizing Microsoft Office, instant messaging, multiline phones, and email. Maintains accurate logs and records of departmental activities.
• Policy Development Input: Contributes to the development of EVS hub policies, procedures, and guidelines based on best practices and insights gained from the role.
• Process Improvement Recommendations: Recommends enhancements to processes to improve department efficiency and overall patient throughput initiatives.
• Support for Training and Administration : Provides relief support for the Training Coordinator and Administrative Assistant when staffing levels are critically low.

What you will need:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• The communications skills necessary to understand written and verbal instructions.
• The organizational skills necessary to coordinate, prioritize and accomplish multiple work assignments.
