EMT - Ambulance Operations

Job description

The EMT/Basic is responsible for delivering and administering high quality care and transportation to ill and injured persons. The EMT/Basic must demonstrate clinical competency and compassion in providing for physical and emotional needs of patients.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience as an EMT preferred. A baccalaureate degree is preferred. Must be proficient in English; must have the ability to read, write, and speak in English .
Current certification as a Nationally Registered EMT/Basic. Current Florida EMT/Basic Licensure/Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with Mayo Clinic policy.
