Emergency Medicine Physician – Part-Time Opportunity

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our exceptional Emergency Department team. Our Emergency Department
Our Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population with approximately 40,000 visits annually . The department combines the advantages of a community-based practice—including a strong team culture and excellent physician retention—with the resources and specialty access of a large, integrated healthcare system.
Our clinicians benefit from strong nursing and provider support, readily available specialty consultation, and established transfer pathways when patients require a higher level of care.
Winsted Freestanding Emergency Department
Hartford HealthCare also operates a freestanding Emergency Department in Winsted , providing emergency care from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM .
This provides an additional opportunity for physicians interested in practicing in a smaller, community-focused emergency care setting while remaining connected to the resources of the broader Hartford HealthCare system.
Academic & Professional Opportunities
Physicians interested in education can participate in the training of residents and medical students . There are also opportunities to become involved in departmental leadership, quality improvement, education, and other professional initiatives throughout Hartford HealthCare.
