Job description

Ellis Medicine is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Ellis CareNet OB/GYN, an established women's health practice serving patients throughout New York's Capital Region.
Recently acquired by Ellis Medicine, CareNet currently includes five OB/GYN physicians and one advanced practice provider and provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to a growing patient population. The practice has two convenient Capital Region locations in Clifton Park and Niskayuna.
With approximately 510 deliveries annually and office volumes of approximately 18–22 patients per day, Ellis CareNet Ob/Gyn offers an APP the opportunity to practice within a busy, collaborative women's health environment while working closely with experienced OB/GYN physicians.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in comprehensive women's health and enjoy developing meaningful relationships with patients across a broad range of gynecologic and reproductive health needs.
Position Highlights

• Bellevue Woman's Center in Niskayuna
• Broad women's health and gynecologic patient population

• Perform procedures including IUD and Nexplanon placement/removal and colposcopy
• Collaborate closely with experienced OB/GYN physicians
• Access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine for high-risk obstetric patients
• Practice within the Ellis Medicine women's health system
• Opportunity to grow with a newly integrated practice

Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive gynecologic and women's health care
• Perform annual well-woman examinations and preventive health visits
• Evaluate and manage common gynecologic conditions
• Provide contraceptive counseling and management
• Perform IUD placement and removal
• Perform Nexplanon placement and removal
• Perform colposcopies and other appropriate office-based procedures
• Evaluate and manage abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, menopausal concerns and other common women's health conditions
• Provide prenatal and postpartum care within the APP's scope of practice and clinical experience
• Participate in the management of routine obstetric patients as appropriate
• Provide patient education regarding reproductive health, contraception, pregnancy and preventive care

Qualifications
• Current NP or PA certification
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State
• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Women's health, OB/GYN, family medicine or related clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Recruitment Package
Ellis Medicine offers a competitive recruitment package designed to support your professional and personal transition to our organization, including:
• Starting Base Compensation of $134,120 with the ability to earn more in productivity
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
